Auburn Hills-based FCA US LLC’s service contract division, Mopar Vehicle Protection, has launched new vehicle protection plans that offer complete coverage for all mechanical wear and tear.

Pietro Gorlier, head of parts and service for Mopar/FCA Global, says the new Mopar “Complete 360” program provides protection for five years/60,000 miles or six years/75,000 miles. He says highlights of the plan include mechanical coverage that covers more than 5,000 components, recommended maintenance including parts and services, and coverage for wear and tear such as wheel alignments, brakes, shocks, wiper blades, belts and hoses, clutch assembly, battery, and headlamps, among others.

“Our mission at Mopar is to offer our customers industry-leading solutions that add value and bring peace of mind to their lives,” Gorlier says.

He says the plan also includes first day and extended car rental allowance while a vehicle is being repaired. An “All-In” option includes the total cost of two worn tire replacements for the term of the plan, along with repairs for minor vehicle dings, dents, glass chips, and cracks, as well as rips and tears to interior seats, carpet, and trim.

Mopar, based in Center Line, also offers a lifetime maximum care plan, along with an “Essential Care” plan for one- to six-year terms that covers a portfolio of standard, synthetic blend, or diesel oil. The plan is available at any point during vehicle ownership, and services are performed at FCA US dealerships.

Mopar distributes more than 500,000 parts and accessories in 150 markets around the world. It has more than 50 parts distribution centers.
