Detroit-based LevelEleven, creator of a sales performance platform which got its start with two employees in downtown Detroit’s Madison Building in 2012, will now get its own floor around the corner at 1520 Woodward Ave. for its 23 employees.
“We’re growing at a rate that demands its own space, and we found it right downtown,” says Bob Marsh, CEO of LevelEleven. “We’ve set our roots in Detroit and are ready to keep expanding from here — beginning with the two new sales hires set to start on Monday.”
The historic structure, located a few buildings north of the John Varvatos store, includes Detroit Labs. Both Detroit Labs and LevelEleven are part of a portfolio of companies supported by Detroit Venture Partners, a venture capital firm whose partners include Dan Gilbert, Brian Hermelin, Jake Cohen, and Gabe Karp.
LevelEleven’s sales performance platform helps sales managers identify key sales behaviors as well as set daily, weekly, and monthly goals for sales representatives. Companies such as PayPal, Forrester Research, and ReadyTalk, a webinar-hosting site, use the platform. LevelEleven has about 200 customers.
The new space, located on the third floor, is housed in what was once known as the Lane Bryant Building, originally constructed in 1909. The structure was recently renovated with architectural work provided by Kraemer Design Group in downtown Detroit.
In April, LevelEleven was selected by Google to travel to the company’s headquarters to compete in a national Demo Day.
