Birmingham-based Be Well LifeStyle Centers, a holistic health facility offering services such as physical therapy and acupuncture, has launched a line of healthy, cold-pressed, non-pasteurized juices.

“Right now, our goal is to produce a product that is centered on antioxidants — immune increasing and body-cleansing,” says Silvio Cozzetto, owner of Be Well Lifestyle Centers. “We’re not looking to create just really good tasting things, but things that are absolutely wonderful for you as well.”

Cozzetto says the center, located at 750 S. Old Woodward Ave., offers a variety of beverages made on-site using organic and local ingredients including handcrafted teas, coconut water, and almond milk. Vegan items are also available, such as macaroons, kale chips, and raw chocolate.

“The coconuts are freshly cracked — they go straight from coconut to bottle, instead of being bought in a store,” Cozzetto says. “The almonds are raw and are soaked in-office, and their milk is made fresh. There’s nothing that’s not made fresh in-office.”

Be Well LifeStyle Centers, which opened in 2012, also offer a variety of services including massages, nutritional coaching, chiropractic services, and personal training specialized for injuries using yoga, weightlifting, or endurance training.

Juices can be ordered in advance by calling the center or by using the center’s mobile app, Be Well LifeStyle. Prices vary between $8 to $10 per bottle, while tonic and elixirs cost anywhere from $4 to $10. For more information, visit BeWellLifestyleCenters.com.
