MyLocker.net, an e-commerce website offering custom apparel for middle and high school teams, has moved its operations from Warren into a 120,000-square-foot warehouse in Detroit’s Corktown. Mexican Industries formerly occupied the multi-building facility.

The company plans to add more than 70 employees within the next month to meet growing customer demand during the busy holiday season, adding to its existing workforce of almost 200 employees.

“We’re deeply proud to be part of the engine driving success and creating opportunity in Detroit,” says Robert Hake, MyLocker.net’s founder and CEO. “Our printing technology and e-commerce platform offer customers … quality, speed, and ease to meet all of their custom apparel needs.”

Products, which consumers can digitally design in minutes, include jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies, warm ups, jerseys, hats, bags, towels, and blankets.

The new headquarters is nearly a city block long and includes a two-story office structure connected to production and distribution buildings. The interior features floor-to-ceiling murals designed by local graffiti artist Antonio “Shades” Agee. Scenes depict Detroit landscapes and landmarks, such as the Joe Louis fist as well as designs incorporating sewing machines and printing ink.

MyLocker.net is an integral part of Detroit’s growing business district in Corktown,” says Rico Razo, Detroit District 6 manager. “The expansion of MyLocker.net is a win-win for Detroit, by transforming 1300 Rosa Parks Blvd. (at Rosa Parks and Abbott) into a vibrant office space and creating convenient jobs for local residents.”
