Fathead — a graphics company based in Detroit known for its sports and entertainment wall decals — is expanding to include more permanent interior designs that allow customers to transform any room into a custom-designed, themed space using licensed décor applications from Disney, Marvel, and pro-sports teams and players.

Called Total Coverage, customers can create a theme room using wall decals, dry erase and magnetic surfaces, and 3-D wall mounts. The new offering — prices starts at $3,000 — is an evolution of the company’s success with business and residential installations, says Lynda McFarlan, a vice president at Fathead.

“We’ve produced remarkable environments that include everything from innovative office spaces to … branded casinos and sports facilities,” McFarlan says. “Now we are pleased to offer consumers Total Coverage, and with it, the ability to transform a room into a customized one-of-a-kind space.”

Michael Layne, a spokesman for Fathead, says the company maintains more than 600 license agreements with major consumer brands. He adds the Total Coverage décor uses more permanent materials, which can stand up to the home environment, along with high-grade metallic and acrylic products. The company plans to market the product both nationally and locally.
