Detroit’s Dickinson Wright Adds Attorney

Dickinson Wright PLLC has announced that attorney Adam D. Grant has joined the firm’s Detroit office.

Grant’s law experience focuses on the areas of commercial and business litigation, financial services litigation, and tax litigation. He has represented banks, businesses, and mortgage lenders and servicers before state and federal courts in Michigan and Illinois. His experience also includes representing brokers and dealers in actions before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, as well as manufacturers in products liability matters.

Grant is a member of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association and the board of directors of the Holocaust Memorial Center, where he serves on the executive committee. He is admitted to practice law in Michigan, Illinois, and Washington, D.C.

The Michigan Supreme Court unanimously decided in favor of Detroit Public Schools when Grant represented the schools on a contested tax issue (Briggs Tax Services v. Detroit Public Schools, 485 Mich. 69 (2010)).

Grant earned his bachelor’s and juris doctorate degrees from the University of Michigan.
