Bloomfield Hills-based Merrill Lynch Managing Director Recognized by On Wall Street

Managing director and market executive for the Bloomfield Hills-Farmington Hills market for Merrill Lynch/Bank of America’s wealth management business, Nathan Marsden, has been named one of the top 75 branch managers in the U.S. by New York’s On Wall Street. The honor is in recognition of his leadership and contributions to the financial advisers who serve clients through Bank of America and Merrill Lynch.

Detroit-based Dickinson Wright Names CEO

Detroit’s Dickinson Wright announced today that Michael C. Hammer has been elected as the firm’s CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2019. Hammer is a 30-year veteran of the firm and has served as deputy CEO for the past 10 years. He will succeed William T. Burgess, who served as CEO for nine years. Burgess will resume his practice in the areas of banking, finance, and restructuring.

Detroit/Wayne County Port Authority Elect New Chairman and Vice Chairman

The board of directors of the Detroit/Wayne County Port Authority (DWCPA) have announced the election of Shannon Price as chairman and Jonathan C. Kinloch as vice chairman. Price has replaced Lorron James, who stepped down from the board in May, and Kinloch has replaced Fred Hoffman, who continues to serve as a board member.

Troy’s Ross Mortgage Corp. Adds Specialty Loan Options

Ross Mortgage Corp., a full-service residential mortgage lender headquartered in Troy, announced an expansion to include four new specialty loan options.

Managing principal of Birmingham’s Fratarcangeli Wealth Management Jeff Fratarcangeli has again been recognized by Forbes and Barron’s as one of the top financial advisers in the U.S. The Fratarcangeli Wealth Management team, associated with Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, manage $1.25 billion in assets.
