Tim Williams Named Vice Chairman of Pinkerton

Ann Arbor-based Pinkerton, a corporate risk management services and solutions provider, has appointed Tim Williams as vice chairman. Williams will be responsible for providing support for Pinkerton’s clients around the world and pursuing new opportunities for clients to advance their corporate risk management initiatives.

 

“Pinkerton continues to grow and expand, and we continually look for new ways to strengthen our global intelligence network and provide the resources needed to help business organizations around the world keep their people, physical property and proprietary information safe and secure,” says Jack Zahran, Pinkerton’s president. “As a long-time corporate security professional, Tim possesses the knowledge and experience needed to help us do just that for our clients, and his track record of successfully implementing security and risk management strategies will be an incredible asset to our growing team.”

 

Williams, former  chief security officer for Caterpillar and Nortel, has also served as an international security coordinator for Proctor and Gamble. Additionally, Williams co-authored the book Fraud: Bringing Light to the Dark Side of Business, and was awarded the 2013 Distinguished Service Accolade from the International Association of Professional Security Consultants.
