Mike Treash Named Vice President and COO of HAP

Detroit-based insurance company, Health Alliance Plan (HAP), today announced Mike Treash as their new senior vice president and COO. Treash will be responsible for overseeing customer service, claims, IT, facilities, business transformation, billing, and payment operations.

 

“Mike is a strategic thinker with significant experience working with integrated healthcare delivery systems,” says Terri Kline, president and CEO of HAP. “His depth of experience in this area, combined with his experience in the financial services sector, will support HAP in providing the highest quality service to our members while guiding the organization through the ever-changing healthcare landscape.”

 

Treash brings more than 25 years of healthcare and financial services experience to the company. Previously, Treash served as executive vice president of Chesterfield-based Mercy Health Plans, senior manager at Ernst and Young, chief operating officer of The Outsource Group in St. Louis, and associate director of operations at Texas-based South and White Health Plan.

 

Treash earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo and a master’s degree in public administration from Arizona State University.
