Troy-based accounting and advisory firm Doeren Mayhew announced Chad Anscheutz as chairman and managing shareholder. Anscheutz will lead the firm’s client service, growth, cultural, and strategic direction.

“It’s an honor to have been chosen for this role,” Says Anschuetz. “I look forward to the challenges ahead and helping carry on our legacy of being one of the nation’s top and “Best of the Best” CPA firms. I am committed to upholding and fostering the values and client service model that has made our firm great.”

Anscheutz, who joined the firm over 20 years ago, began as an auditor. He has also been a member of the firm’s management committee and human resource committee.

“I am pleased to have had the opportunity to serve as Doeren Mayhew’s managing shareholder for the last two-plus decades and am proud of what the firm has become,” adds Mark Crawford, former managing shareholder and board chairman of Doeren Mayhew. “More so, I’m excited to see what the future holds for the firm. Chad has played an integral part in the firm’s development over the years, and I am confident our employees and clients are in good hands with him at the helm.”
