Schostak Plans $1.3M in Renovations at Applebee's

Livonia-based Team Schostak Family Restaurants, a family-owned restaurant group, has invested  $1.3 million to revitalize the bar at 21 of its Applebee’s locations.

The investment includes a complete overhaul of its Commerce, Auburn Hills, and Southgate restaurants, as well as a partial bar revitalization of 18 other Applebee’s locations. As part of the revitalization, the restaurant upgrades also include new seating, additional and new TVs, and new draft towers, while the total bar revitalization also feature an updated modern bar atmosphere complete with a new sound system and juke box, wine on tap, new back bar display, new front entry way, new lighting, and new décor.

“This revitalization project has created the perfect space for a variety of restaurant goers, ranging from avid sports fans wanting a seat for the big game to couples looking for the perfect convenient date night spot,” says Barb Pasciak, marketing director for Schostak.

Pasciak says the newly unveiled bar concept is just in time for guests to enjoy a special Sweetest Day deal, from Oct. 16 -18, at all Team Schostak Applebee’s locations featuring an assortment of bottled of wines at half price.

Locations that received the partial bar revitalization include Ann Arbor, Canton, Taylor, Utica, Adrian, Roseville, Chesterfield, Madison Heights, Northville, Monroe, White Lake, Plymouth Road, Woodhaven, Lapeer, Dundee, Ypsilanti, Lyon Township, and Allen Park.
