Plymouth Township’s DeNovo Sciences Changes Name to Celsee Diagnostics

1998

Plymouth Township-based DeNovo Sciences Inc., a developer of systems for single cell analysis, today announced it will operate under the name Celsee Diagnostics, effective immediately. The new name is part of an initiative to align the company’s branding more closely with its commitment to develop and commercialize high-tech cancer diagnostic products.

“Our new name reflects our firm commitment to take our product through the appropriate regulatory channels for clinical adoption worldwide…,” says Kalyan Handique, CEO of Celsee Diagnostics. “We also remain committed to providing cancer researchers with a platform to make their own scientific discoveries using a system that allows them to evaluate circulating tumor cells at the genetic as well as cellular level.”

As a part of this rebranding effort, the company is also aligning the names of its product offering. The automatic Jetta 400 and VanGuard imager will be renamed Celsee Prep400 and Celsee Analyzer, respectively.

"We are excited that our new name Celsee Diagnostics provides more information about what we do for our customers, something that our previous name failed to do,” says Priya Gogoi, co-founder and vice president of research and strategy at Celsee Diagnostics. "The rebranding is an indication that we are moving towards a more focused and disciplined diagnostic approach.”
