Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber Adds Team Members


Novi-based Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber Inc. have added three new employees to its team. They are:

Mark Mitchell, AIA, LEED AP, senior architect, brings more than 20 years of technical and project management experience to the firm. Mitchell, of Orion Township, has experience in the higher education, automotive testing, and research industry markets. One of his most notable projects was the facilities master plan for Kettering University, which earned an AIA Detroit Honor Award.

Mitchell, formerly of Stantec, received both his Bachelor of Science in architecture and master of architecture degrees from the University of Michigan.

Craig Savage, CPG joins the firm as a senior geologist. He is a certified professional geologist with and a registered professional geologist with the State of Kentucky. Savage's overall area of expertise is hydrogeology and has worked on environmental investigation projects and water supply/resource projects. He has worked most recently for Superior Environmental Corp., where his primary role was to oversee all work on state contracts. Savage, of Commerce Township, has also held positions as the regional office manager for Gannett Fleming of Michigan Inc., and a senior hydrogeologist with AECOM.

Savage is a graduate of Binghamton University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in geology and a Bachelor of Arts in environmental studies. He earned his Master of Science in geology with an emphasis in hydrogeology form the University of Nebraska.

Jerry Hirth, PE, LEED AP, has been named senior mechanical engineer. He is a professional engineer in Michigan, New York, and Wisconsin. Hirth, of Ypsilanti, brings more than 30 years of experience from McNamee Porter & Seeley, Mectron Engineering, Optrand Inc., and most recently, Tetra Tech, where he served as a senior mechanical engineer, project manager, and mechanical group leader.

He is a graduate from the University of Michigan with his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering.

Rehmann, a certified public accountant (CPA), business consulting, and financial services firm, has added two new hires to its Ann Arbor office in the governmental and higher education sectors. Matt Behnke, a CPA and chartered global management accountant, will serve as an assurance senior manager, and Daniel Clark, CPA will serve as an assurance principal.

Troy’s Ross Mortgage Adds Vice President, Four Other Employees

Ross Mortgage Corp., a full-service residential mortgage lender headquartered in Troy, announced the appointment of Theresa Sprague as vice president of branch growth and retention. The firm has also added Jason Sprague and his team of loan officers, Jon DeKoninck, Denise Huettner, and Tim Donner.
