Local industry leaders will gather for thought-provoking dialogue during the American Heart Association’s inaugural “Go Red Talks” on Oct. 20 at the Gem Theatre in Detroit.
“The event is designed to explore ideas that relate back to the lifesaving work of the American Heart Association,” says Mindy Lopus, corporate events director for the southeast Michigan American Heart Association. “Our goal is to offer talks that are idea-focused, cover a wide range of subjects and provoke further conversation.”
The program, emceed by WXYZ’s Erin Nicole, kicks off at 6:30 pm with speaker presentations followed by a networking reception. Participants representing various industries such as automotive, health care and advocacy will explore topics ranging from healthy food access to the expansion of driveless cars.
