DETROIT — Adam Jablonowski, MPA, has been named executive vice president and Karen Carter as chief administrative officer of the 5,000-member Wayne County Medical Society of Southeast Michigan.
Jablonowski, of Harper Woods, returns to the organization after serving the organization in the same capacity from 1996-2011. He was a former chairman of the YMCA board of directors and a former executive director of a southeast regional physician recruiting firm.
Carter, who has been with group since 2000 in various roles, will now be responsible for managing office staff and daily operations, overseeing committees and financial management functions. Before moving to Michigan, Carter worked as assistant to the director of operations of Thorne Rentals, at the Rent-A-Center headquarters in Wichita, Kansas.
A resident of Grosse Pointe, Carter attended Wichita State University.
