SOUTHFIELD — Gene Szpeninski, an associate broker with Signature Associates, a Cushman & Wakefield Alliance Member, has been named president of the Michigan Realtors.
Szpeninski, of Grand Rapids, serves on the board of directors for the Commercial Board of Realtors’ Public Policy and Government Affairs for Commercial Alliance of Realtors and Government & Global Task Force. He also serves on the National Association of Realtors board of directors on the Commercial Committee and Land Use Property Rights & Environment Committee.
The Commercial Board of Realtors has also named Szpeninski as Realtor of the Year Award. The award is based on a broker’s community involvement, organizational leadership, and demonstrated ethical business practices.
