Homearama Extends Opening for Additional Weekend

WEST BLOOMFIELD —Based on high demand, the Home Builders Association of Southeastern Michigan, has added one additional weekend to the 2014 Ultimate Homearama event to be held from Sept. 19-21.

“There has been an outpouring of interest in visiting these extraordinary homes,” says Michael Stoskopf, CEO of HBA, host of the Ultimate Homearama. “This is the first event of its kind in more than a decade and with the improving economy, the interest in new homes and home remodeling is soaring. Keeping these homes open for one more weekend will allow visitors — and repeat visitors — to spend time exploring the homes through self-guided tours and make our theme, Bringing The Dream Home, a reality in their lives and in their current or future homes.”

The Ultimate Homearama, a tour the six multi-million dollar luxury estates, is located in the Pinnacle community on Silverbell Road just east of Adams Road. The community was developed by Moceri and features homes built by Arteva Homes, Cranbrook Custom Homes, MJC Companies and Moceri. The homes provide visitors with the latest concepts in luxury home living, design trends and ideas for their own ultimate dream home. Amenities showcased include professional kitchens, spa-like master retreats, exterior and interior water features, the latest technologies, outdoor living spaces and idyllic landscapes.

On Friday, Sept. 19 the event will open from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday ;and noon – 9 p.m. on  Sept. 21 the final day of the event. During the additional weekend, parking will continue to be located at Oakland Christian Church at 5100 N. Adams Rd., Rochester. A free shuttle will bring visitors from the parking area to the Ultimate Homearama site. Tickets are available at the site or online at UltimateHomearama.com. Ticket prices are $15 per person or $40 for a Family Pack including two adults and children under age 18.
