Core3, Enlighten Technologies Form New IT Service Firm

3014

TROY — Core3 Solutions, a digital marketing, web development, and managed IT services company in Troy, and Enlighten Technologies, an IT service and consulting firm in Birmingham, have become Detroit IT.

Detroit IT will provide managed and on-demand IT services, IT consulting, and public, private, and hybrid cloud solutions for local and national companies.

Enlighten Technologies was started in 2001 by Eric Grundlehner, and has grown to provide IT services for some of the fastest growing companies in metro Detroit. Established in 1997 by co-founder and CEO Paul Chambers, Core3 IT was a division of Core3 Solutions. Chambers and Grundlehner decided to partner together in 2013 when they realized joining forces could provide an even greater level of service for their clients. Since then, Detroit IT has more than doubled in size and has established partnerships with Dell, HP, Cisco, Apple, Digium, and other industry leaders.

“We saw a need in the marketplace for a leading provider of managed and traditional IT services,” Grundlehner says. “The combination of Core3 IT and Enlighten Technologies brings both of those to the table.”

With more than 15 years of industry experience, Grundlehner will assume the role of chief technology officer for Detroit IT.

“Detroit IT has filled a void in the region by delivering a great combination of enterprise IT consulting and a highly regarded service desk,” Chambers says. “This is something that we’re proud to bring to the businesses in the region that may not have in-house IT support, or need some additional help with initiatives they’re moving forward on.”

Detroit IT has several job openings for business development representatives, system administrators, and service desk technicians. Visit jobs.DetroitIT.com to apply. For more information about the company, visit detroitmanagedit.com.
