FLINT — Diplomat, the country’s largest independent specialty pharmacy, has named Lance Neill as vice president of Corporate Services.

Neill is responsible for the strategy and governance of Diplomat’s analytics, business intelligence, contracting management, and project management areas, ultimately serving to align the organization’s business objectives with its long-term goals.

“Lance has already proven to be a valuable member of Diplomat’s executive team. He brings deep industry knowledge to the table and has the experience necessary to adopt and implement important strategic initiatives that address anticipated challenges and opportunities in the growing specialty pharmacy space,” said Phil Hagerman, Diplomat’s CEO.

Prior to joining Diplomat earlier this year, Neill served as director of commercial contracting and channel management at Wal-Mart Stores Inc. He held a number of senior financial management positions within the healthcare and manufacturing industries. Neill also taught healthcare contracting as an adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas School of Law. He holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology from the University of Phoenix
