The Capital Grille is hosting a gourmet dinner on Friday, Oct. 22 to support Yatooma’s Foundation For The Kids

TROY, Oct. 19, 2010 – The Capital Grille is hosting a five-course, wine-paired dinner on Friday, Oct. 22 to support Yatooma’s Foundation For The Kids, benefiting children who have lost a parent.

The event begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction, followed by the Capital Grille-prepared dinner featuring Mercer Estates Winery selections perfectly paired with each selection. Capital Grille General Manager John Kelly will be closing the restaurant that evening to host the private event.

Tickets for the event are $175 per person. Table sponsorships also are available at $2,000 for a table of 10 or $1,600 for a table of 8. Proceeds from the event will benefit families served through Yatooma’s Foundation For The Kids to help provide guidance, stability and financial assistance to those families with children who have suddenly suffered the loss of one or both parents.

Special guests for the evening will be Mike Hogue and Ron Harle of Mercer Estates Winery, Event Chairmen Chuck Bennett of The Detroit News and emcee Frank Beckmann of News/Talk WJR 760.

Mercer Estates is a family-owned Washington State winery devoted to producing premium wines through a partnership of the Mercer and Hogue familes, guided by more than 25 years of grape growing and winemaking experience.
