Toast of Hockeytown 2016

The Detroit Red Wings Foundation, which supports the growth of hockey in metro Detroit, held its Toast of Hockeytown event Nov. 16 at Joe Louis Arena. The event drew more than 1,000 people.

Walsh College's Spring Soiree

More than 300 Walsh College alumni and guests attended the inaugural Spring Soiree at the Royal Oak Farmer's Market on Friday, May 5. Guests enjoyed food trucks, local craft beer, and wine tastings, raising more than $95,000 for the Walsh College Scholarship Fund.

Red Jacket Gala 2017

City Year Detroit hosted its annual Red Jacket Gala on Thursday, May 11 at Cobo Center. More than 600 civic leaders enjoyed a cocktail reception, dinner, and presentation of the 2017 Idealist in Action Award, which was given to Matt Simoncini, president and CEO of Southfield-based automotive seating supplier Lear Corp.
