Strategic Staffing Solutions Holiday Party 2017

More than 600 guests attended Strategic Staffing Solution’s Holiday Party on Dec. 14 at the Detroit Athletic Club. Guests were invited to donate a children’s book, and were treated to strolling food stations, live entertainment, and dancing.

TiECon Detroit President Reception

TiECon Detroit hosted a President Reception on Friday, Oct. 5 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. The networking event was part of 2018’s TiECon Detroit, Michigan’s largest conference for entrepreneurs. This year’s event, which was held Oct. 5-6, focused on artificial intelligence.

14th Annual Polish the Jewel Luncheon

The Belle Isle Conservancy hosted its 14th annual Polish the Jewel legacy luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 11 at the Detroit Yacht Club on Belle Isle. The event raised money for Belle Isle’s Beachfront Revitalization Project, which will add a splash park, picnic area, and parking to where the island’s waterslide once stood.

McLaren Macomb's Ted B. Wahby Cancer Center 10th Anniversary

On Oct. 3, doctors, administrators, and patients marked the 10-year anniversary of comprehensive cancer care at the Karmanos Cancer Institute at McLaren Macomb's Ted B. Wahby Cancer Center in Mt. Clemens. The Cancer Center was started by the late Ted Wahby, former mayor of St. Clair Shores and Macomb County treasurer, and a group of doctors at the Mt. Clemens hospital.
