Sterling Insurance Group Open House

On Feb. 1, Sterling Insurance Group in Sterling Heights held an open house and ribbon cutting for its newly renovated office. The event, which drew more than 200 people, included remarks from company officials and local dignitaries, beverages, and a strolling buffet.

The Detroit Bar Association awarded Hon. Robert J. Colombo Jr., chief judge of the 3rd Judicial Circuit Court, with the 14th Annual Dennis W. Archer Public Service Award on Nov. 8 at the Detroit Yacht Club. The award honors an attorney or jurist who exemplifies the ideal of the law as public service. Proceeds fund free legal clinics and community outreach programs.

CFA Society Detroit Annual Forecast Luncheon 2018

On Nov. 9 at the MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit, the CFA Society Detroit held its annual forecast luncheon. The event featured Daniel Crosby, a renowned expert on understanding and capitalizing on the intersection of mind and markets, and David Kelly, who shared his economic and market outlook for 2019.

The Doll League Charity Fundraiser in Southfield

On Sunday, Nov. 4, The Doll League Inc. Detroit chapter hosted a masquerade ball at The Westin Southfield Detroit. The league is headquartered in New York and provides college scholarships to young women and grants to community organizations.
