APACC East-West Business Connection 2017

The 14th annual East-West Business Connection was held on March 8 at the Edward Village Hotel in Dearborn to promote enterprises for minority-owned businesses. The event, hosted by the Asian Pacific American Chamber of Commerce, drew over 350 guests who enjoyed a panel discussion, supplier showcase, and networking opportunities.

On Jan. 27, more than 350 people attended the Officers Ball at the Detroit Yacht Club. The DYC Annual Officers Ball is the longest-running formal event in the City of Detroit (142nd this year), and is the first major event of the Club's 150th Anniversary. Attendees enjoyed a plated, sitdown dinner, a cocktail reception, and live entertainment.

Birmingham Education Foundation Unabashed Bash

On Feb. 10, the Birmingham Education Foundation hosted its Unabashed Bash for 270 people at the Townsend Hotel in downtown Birmingham. The evening event featured a cocktail party, a plated gourmet dinner, student performances, and live, silent, and online auctions.

Bates Street Society Dinner at The Community House in Birmingham

The Community House in downtown Birmingham hosted its annual Bates Street Society Dinner on Feb. 3, attended by more than 200 guests. The event, presented by PNC Wealth Management and hosted by The Community House’s board of directors, recognized donors who have made significant charitable contributions to the The Community House. The recognition dinner officially inducted the donors into the “Bates Street Society.” The black tie-optional event featured a cocktail party, a three-course seated dinner, and live entertainment.
