Forgotten Harvest hosted the 15th annual preview party for the Woodward Dream Cruise on Friday, August 18 at Westborn Market in Berkley. Guests enjoyed live music, a strolling dinner by local restaurants, silent auction, and a sneak peak of the Woodward Dream Cruise.

Detroit Chinese Business Association Conference at NextEnergy

On April 19, the Detroit Chinese Business Association together with the Minority Business Development Agency/Department of Commerce San Jose hosted a full-day conference at the NextEnergy Center in Detroit. The conference emphasized the collaborative investment opportunity between U.S. and China smart car and auto tech exchange industries, and an MOU was signed between Shanghai International Auto City, the Detroit Regional Chamber, and the Center for Automotive Research.

Prince Concepts Details Plans for Major Mixed-use Development on Detroit’s West Side

Prince Concepts today released plans for a major mixed-use development on various sites bounded by Forest and Warren avenues on Detroit’s West Side. The developments include The Sawtooth, Astro Coffee Roasting Facility/Ochre Bakery, Lafayette American, 5K, Magnet, and The Caterpillar. Together, they will offer rental housing, offices, and studios, along with a coffee shop, a restaurant and bar, and public outdoor spaces — all about 3½ miles northwest of downtown Detroit. Michigan Science Center Gala 2018

More than 600 guests attended the Michigan Science Center Gala on May 4 in Detroit, which included a cocktail reception and self-guided tours of the center, a plated dinner inside an elaborate tent, and an afterglow that included a planetarium show. Guests at the black-tie event received updates on STEM programs and NASA’s planned 2020 launch of the James Webb Space Telescope.
