33rd Annual JDRF Promise Ball

JDRF held its annual Promise Ball on May 4 at the MGM Grand Detroit. The formal event included a cocktail reception, dinner, a live auction, entertainment, and an after party. Proceeds benefitted JDRF’s mission to support research to cure, treat, and prevent Type 1 diabetes and its complications.

Capuchin Soup Kitchen in Detroit hosted its 46th Annual SOCK (Support Our Capuchin Kitchen) on Friday, Nov. 30 at Detroit’s Cobo Center. Guests enjoyed dinner, cocktails, live music, and a silent auction.

2018 Kidney Ball

The National Kidney Foundation of Michigan hosted its Kidney Ball on Saturday, Dec. 1 at the Westin Book Cadillac Detroit. The 1920s-themed event included cocktails, dinner, dancing, an auction, and a candy bar. The National Kidney Foundation of Michigan works to prevent kidney disease and helps those who have it.
