Rogelio Landin has been appointed as executive director of the U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce, Great Lakes Chapter (USMCOC-GL) based in Detroit. Landin joins USMCOC-GL from his role as founder and president of PerformancED, a Detroit-based data-driven technology solution, which was the first minority-owned enterprise to be granted national partnership with the National Head Start Association.
Additionally, Landin was board chairman for Matrix Human Services, changeover program coordinator for Essex Wire, maquiladora program coordinator for United Technologies, and international systems developer for DSA of America.
“Rogelio Landin’s diverse experience in building cross border business relationships and his broad-based leadership experience in the public and private sector make him well qualified to direct and grow the activities and prominence of the new Great Lakes Chapter of the U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce,” says Timothy Finerty, a shareholder at Clayton and McKervey and practice leader for the firm’s Mexico and Latin America Practice. “I look forward to working with him as the Chamber positions itself to make an impact in the Great Lakes region it serves.”
Landin also represented Mexico’s tier one supply chain trade association and consulted with Bancomext stakeholders regarding Mexico’s bridge loan applications to World Bank, and attended Eastern Michigan University.
