Reuben Rashty Named to Board of Directors for Detroit Public Television

Detroit Public Television (DPTV) has added Reuben Rashty, senior vice president and managing director of Fifth Third Private Bank in Detroit and Mirador Family Wealth Advisors, a division of Fifth Third Bank, to their board of directors.

 

“We are delighted and honored to welcome such an astute business and active community leader to our board,” says Rich Homberg, president and CEO of DPTV. “Reuben will become part of an exceptional team of directors, who have done so much to help DPTV achieve its strategic mission – airing the best in PBS programming, engaging the local community in our work, and telling the unfolding story of Detroit.”

 

Prior to joining Fifth Third Bank, Rashty served as managing director for JPMorgan Chase. With more than 25 years of banking experience, Rashty has been recognized as a Five Star Wealth Manager by Hour Magazine.

 

Rashty is a member of the finance committee of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit and a board director for the American Technion Society. He received a business administration degree from Wayne State University.
