Institute of Real Estate Management Appoints New President for Michigan Chapter

Livonia-based Institute of Real Estate Management has appointed Sabrina Gaddy-Bollinger as the new president of its Michigan division.

The branch, titled Michigan Chapter No. 5, represents professionals in the metro Detroit area, and supports the continuing education and professional development of members in the real estate industry. Gaddy-Bollinger is the first African-American woman to hold the position.

As president, the Westland resident will be managing affairs for IREM, such as budget planning and legislative disputes.

Gaddy-Bollinger recently served as the director of public housing for Fourmidable, a Bingham Farms-based real estate management and brokerage company. She has been with the company since 1995 and has had experience in affordable housing management since 1992.

In November, Wayne County executive Warren Evans honored Gaddy-Bollinger for her accomplishments. She has also received a proclamation from the City of Westland.

Gaddy-Bollinger received an associate’s degree in business, and is pursuing a bachelor of business degree.
