Methodist Children’s Home Society Appoints Two New Members to Board of Directors

Methodist Children’s Home Society, a Redford-based nonprofit, has named Tom Wegehaupt and Marianne Conner as new members of its board of directors.

Wegehaupt and Conner will be responsible for helping the nonprofit in its efforts to care for children and maintain fiscal responsibility. They will continue to work at their current career positions while serving on the board.

In addition to serving as a member of the board, Wegehaupt is an account manager at the strategic communications firm Tanner Friedman in Farmington Hills.

Wegehaupt, of Novi, earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from Baker College.

Conner, (right), serves as CFO of Southfield-based Advantage Management group and is the president of Birmingham-based M.B. Conner, CPA, PC.

Conner, of Birmingham, earned her bachelor’s degree at Michigan State and her master’s degree from Walsh College.
