Central Michigan University Research Corp. Appoints New Board of Directors

Central Michigan University Research Corp., a nonprofit business incubator based in Mount Pleasant, has appointed Kimberly Norris and Daniel Dralle as new members of the board of directors.

As members of the board, they will be responsible for providing insight to entrepreneurial activities such as investment, funding, and partnership opportunities. They will also maintain their current roles within their respective companies.

Norris serves as the vice president of administration at Saginaw-based Glastender. Norris worked in home and healthcare settings until joining her family’s manufacturing company as the human resource manager in 1996. Her work in hospital and healthcare settings earned her the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s MSHARP award in 2011 and 2014.

Norris, also of Bay County, earned her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in nursing from Saginaw Valley State University.

Dralle (right) is the executive director at Nexteer Automotive and serves on the board of directors for the Great Lakes Bay Regional Alliance and Saginaw Future. He began his career with General Motors Co./Steering Gear in February 1984 in manufacturing industrial and product engineering, until being awarded the GM fellowship to attend graduate school.

Dralle, of Bay County, attended graduate school at Purdue University where he graduated as a Krannert Scholar.
