MedNetOne Health Solutions Adds Director of Clinical Pharmacy Programs

Tia Ollie has been named director of clinical pharmacy programs for MedNetOne Health Solutions, a Rochester-based health care management organization.

Previously, Ollie was a clinical pharmacist at the Detroit Medical Center, serving Children’s Hospital of Michigan and Harper University Hospital.

In this newly created position, Ollie will be responsible for overseeing all pharmacy activities, including review of clinical data and pharmacy claims and ensuring patient safety regarding medication appropriateness, particularly among the elderly patient population. She will continue to serve academic appointments as an adjunct clinical assistant professor at the Wayne State University and adjunct clinical instructor at the University of Michigan.

Ollie, of Bloomfield Hills, is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist and a member of the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy Board of Governors, the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, and the Southeast Michigan Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

Ollie holdsa Bachelor of Science in biology from Tuskegee University and a doctor of pharmacy from the University of Michigan. She completed her pharmacy practice residency at Harper University Hospital in 2006.
