CBI Names New Senior VP of Professional Services

CBI, a Detroit-based provider of IT risk management services, has hired Jim Shaw as senior vice president of professional services, where he will lead the organization’s new Detroit office.

Shaw, of Clarkston, has more than 10 years of experience in enterprise technology consulting. In his new position, Shaw oversees CBI’s professional services group responsible for consulting, implementation and residency services. Shaw will play a role in driving new business and growth by working directly with clients who need assessments, products and services to help them move towards a more secure infrastructure.

Shaw was most recently a senior manager of cyber risk services at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he was responsible for helping enterprises protect their information and manage technology risks, as well as working with clients to help them develop and implement technology risk solutions. He was also the chief of staff for the COO for the leader of Deloitte’s technology risk practice, and previously spent time working for EDS.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in information services from Kettering University in Flint
