Varnum Attorney Name to Arthritis Foundation Board

GRAND RAPIDS — Varnum attorney Adam Brody has been elected to the Michigan Board of Trustees for the Arthritis Foundation. His appointment to the statewide organization follows several years of service to the West Michigan Arthritis Foundation Advisory Board, for which he was recently appointed to a three-year term as chair.

Brody, of Hudsonville, is a partner in the trial group at Varnum, focusing on complex civil litigation in state and federal courts. He is experienced in intellectual property litigation, products liability defense, warranty defense, and property tax litigation.

He has served as a volunteer coach for Georgetown Township Little League and Upward Basketball, and he has also served on the planning committee for the Bethany Open golf event, raising funds for Bethany Christian Services.

He received a bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University and his law degree from Washington and Lee School of Law in Lexington, Va.
