BINGHAM FARMS —The Professional Bull Riders has partnered with Bingham Farms-based Carbon Media Group to give CarbonTV.com to become the official home of the organization’s digital video content starting next year.

“Combining the PBR’s 25 million active fans with CMG’s 24 million monthly unique visitors creates a breakthrough opportunity for both organizations,” says Hyaat Chaudhary, CEO of Carbon Media Group. “With PBR becoming a core component of our programming, we will be exposing Carbon’s large outdoor and rural lifestyle audience to the sport of bull riding, while providing PBR’s existing fans with a premium online and over-the-top streaming experience.”

CarbonTV.com, an online video destination for outdoor and rural themed content will be the exclusive home of PBR LIVE, the Professional Bull Rider’s site for streaming, companion content and archival content channel. A total of 100 PBR events, consisting of non-televised Built Ford Tough Series  performances, BlueDEF Velocity Tour events, the BlueDEF Velocity Finals and extensive coverage around the Built Ford Tough World Finals, will be broadcast live on CarbonTV.com starting with the 2015 season kickoff event in Baltimore on Jan. 2-3. The new agreement will make all streams available to fans worldwide free of charge.

CarbonTV.com will also offer fans the companion features of the PBR LIVE product such as live scoring, live blogs, rider and bull match ups, and round results. In addition, the network will offer the most extensive archive of digital bull riding content available, providing fans unlimited access to past events, highlights and other historic content. As part of the agreement, Carbon Media Group will add the PBR’s YouTube channel to Carbon’s multi-channel network.

The organization features the world’s top 35 bull riders and the fiercest bucking bulls in the sport. In 2015, the athletes will compete in 27 events that will take place in 18 states across the country, culminating with the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas on Oct. 21-25 at the Thomas & Mack Center. The bull riders will compete all season, trying to accumulate the valuable PBR world points needed to rise to the top and become the PBR World Champion, a title that comes with a $1 million bonus and the coveted PBR World Champion buckle.
