ROYAL OAK — Eisbrenner Public Relations has hired Katelyn Crain as an account coordinator.

In her new position, Crain is responsible for establishing media relations, coordinating research, and writing for several of the firm’s clients, including Dana Holding Corp., MSX International, and Robert Bosch. She also will assist with the planning and direction of the firm’s internship program, Outside the Book.

“Katelyn’s previous internship experience and obvious passion for learning made hiring her an easy decision,” says Tom Eisbrenner, president of Eisbrenner. “We are excited to see what she will bring to our firm and clients, as her personality, motivation, and communication skills make her a perfect addition to our team.”

Prior to joining the firm, Crain was a communications intern at the West Michigan Center for Arts and Technology. Previously, she was the marketing and public relations intern at Mackinac State Historic Parks, as well as a reporting intern with the Lake Orion Review. While attending Ferris State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in journalism and technical communication, Crain worked as a news writer at the college’s independent newspaper the Ferris State Torch.
