MHPN Fall Benefit at Grand Army of the Republic

On Oct. 12, the Michigan Historic Preservation Network held its Fall Benefit at the Grand Army of the Republic in Detroit. Built in 1899, the castle-like building is being renovated by Mindfield, a creative studio in Detroit.

Detroit Country Day School Centennial Gala

Detroit County Day School celebrated its 100-year anniversary at the Henry Ford Museum on March 21. The event featured a strolling dinner, handcrafted cocktails, live music, and dancing. Guests enjoyed a timeline of the school’s last hundred years of achievements, a special display of historic photos and memorabilia, and a video address from Governor Rick Snyder.

2015 Top Lawyers

Tre Monti, a gourmet restaurant next to the San Marino Club in Troy, was the setting for DBusiness magazine's 2015 Top Lawyers reception on Jan.22. The evening, which drew more than 200 honorees and their guests, included a strolling supper, craft cocktails, sponsor displays, and party favors.

2015 Design Night

Designer's Night, one of a series of parties leading up to the North American International Auto Show, was held on Jan. 12 at the Bankle Building in Detroit's Midtown district. The event combined motorsports, pop art, gourmet food, and fashion.

2015 St. Patrick's Day Celebration at the Max

WJR's Paul W. Smith presented his annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration at the Max M. Fisher Music Center in Detroit on March 17. Business and government leaders were in attendance, and the McSpillin Band entertained throughout the morning.
