20th Annual Woodward Dream Cruise

The 20th Annual Woodward Dream Cruise, sponsored by Chevrolet, was held Aug. 16. The cruise, which celebrates classic car culture, took place along a 16-mile stretch of Woodward Avenue through nine host communities, including Berkley, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Bloomfield Township, Ferndale, Huntington Woods, Pleasant Ridge, Pontiac, and Royal Oak.

Fash Bash at the DIA 2014

Detroit River International Powerboat Championships

The Detroit River International Powerboat Championships took place along the Detroit riverfront on Sept. 6-7. Proceeds benefited local charities including Detroit PAL and the Detroit Firemen's Fund Association.

Be A Tiger for Kids Rock-N-Roar Tailgate 2014

Cornerstone Schools in Detroit hosted the Rock-N-Roar Tailgate as a kickoff to the Be a Tiger for Kids benefit at St. John’s Episcopal Church on Aug. 26. Following the event, attendees headed to Comerica Park for the Tigers game.

MHCC's 23rd Annual Golf Outing

The Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce hosted its 23rd Annual Golf Outing at Cherry Creek, Greystone, and The Orchards golf clubs on Aug. 18. The event brought together more than 400 Michigan-based senior-level executives, business owners, and supplier diversity purchasing representatives.
