The National Kidney Foundation of Michigan hosted its 10th Annual Kidney Ball on Dec. 6 at the MGM Grand Detroit. Approximately 680 guests attended the event, which raised more than $500,000 to help the more than 900,000 people in Michigan living with chronic kidney disease.

Good Food, Good Wine, Good Friends, and a Good Cause

Gary and Debbie Stanford hosted the “Good Food, Good Wine, Good Friends and a Good Cause” event at the Les Stanford Cadillac Showroom in Dearborn in November. More than 70 guests attended the event, which highlighted the Oakwood Center for Exceptional Families, an organization that provides specialized care for more than 4,500 children with special needs and their families.

Sneak Peek: Punch Bowl Social Opens in Detroit

Punch Bowl Social — a bar and entertainment venue that spans two levels of a 24,000-square-foot space — provided a sneak peek event for media on Dec. 9. The gastro-diner, which also offers bowing, arcade games, and private karaoke, opens today in The Z building in downtown Detroit.
