The Dawda Mann Law Firm in Bloomfield Hills hosted its seventh annual Automotive Breakfast on April 21 at the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel in Detroit. Guest speakers were Joseph Hinrichs, executive vice president and president of the Americas for Ford Motor Co. and Macomb County Executive Mark A. Hackel. The event was held in conjunction with the SAE World Congress to bring together clients and colleagues in the automotive industry.

2015 Downtown Detroit Partnership Luncheon

The Dowtown Detroit Partnership, a coalition of corporate, civic, and philanthropic leaders that develops programs and initiatives designed to create an inviting downtown Detroit, held their annual luncheon and meeting at the Cobo Center on April 17. Local leaders such as Quicken Loans founder Dan Gilbert and Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan attended the event.

Alice Cooper performed a VIP concert at the John Varvatos store in downtown Detroit on April 16. Guests such as Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander, model Kate Upton, singer Michael Bolton, and "Rehab Addict" host Nicole Curtis attended the event. Cooper sang songs such as ""No More Mr. Nice Guy," a cover of "Brown Sugar," and ended with "School's Out."
