The Briggs Houze, a new 17-story, 118 residential apartment and commercial building near Grand Circus Park in downtown Detroit, hosted a block party on Sept. 8. More than 200 people attended the event for the building, which was built in the 1920s and previously operated as the Hotel Briggs.
