LTU Promotes Two New Roles at the Detroit Center for Design and Technology

Detroit’s Center for Design and Technology (DCDT) recently announced the appointment of Karl Daubmann as executive director and Christopher L. Stefani as associate director.

Karl Daubmann is also dean of the College of Architecture and Design at Lawrence Technological University (LTU). Daubmann is a registered architect specializing in design technology, manufacturing, and multidisciplinary design.

Stefani is an emerging designer and entrepreneur, he graduated from LTU with a bachelor’s degree in architecture and interior design and a master of architecture with a focus on architectural education in impoverished communities.

DCDT is a public program established by LTU that brings together resources and industry workshops to host a new Design Incubator program. It is aimed to reach Detroit’s creative community and startup entrepreneurs.
