Marie Mauro has been promoted to senior staff accountant in the property management accounting department at Farbman Group, a Southfield-based commercial real estate firm.
In her new role at the Southfield office, Mauro will be responsible for working within the property management accounting department overseeing the staff accountants and maintaining a portfolio of properties, including preparing monthly budget and financial reports.
Mauro was promoted from the position of staff accountant at Farbman. Prior to joining Farbman Group, she was a bookkeeper and accountant in industry sectors across southeast Michigan.
Mauro, of Novi, earned a bachelor of science in business from the National College of Business & Arts and a Master of Business Administration from Ateneo Graduate School of Business.
