OCC Names New Dean of Nursing

Rosalind Woodson has just been appointed the new dean of nursing at Oakland Community College.

In her new position, Woodson will oversee leading the nursing program at Oakland.

With almost 25 years of teaching and nursing experience, Woodson is a registered nurse who has served at South University and ITT Technical Institute. She began working in hospitals in the Detroit area, but also has experience as a nursing instructor at both Oakland University and Harper University Hospital.

She has obtained a Doctor of Nursing from Oakland University, dual degrees from University of Phoenix in Nursing and Health Care Administration, and her Bachelor of Nursing from Wayne State University.
