Robert E. Murkowski has been added as a board member to the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association Board of Directors at Miller Canfield Canfield, a Detroit-based international law firm.
Murkowski will serve on the board for two years, and is currently an associate at Miller Canfield’s Detroit office. He is also a member of the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution and automotive groups, focusing on corporate litigation and business disputes.
Before joining Miller Canfield, Murkowski worked in the United States Attorney’s Office in Detroit, and served with the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel and on Eastern Michigan University’s alumni association board of directors.
Murkowski, of Brownstown Township, earned his bachelor of science from Eastern Michigan University and his juris doctor from Wayne State University Law School.
