MedNetOne Health Chief Medial Officer Earns Legion of Merit Award

Algirdas Juocys, chief medical officer and co-founder of MedNetOne Health Solutions, a health care management organization, has received the military Legion of Merit award in recognition of his 35 years of medical service to the Michigan National Guard. 

The Legion of Merit is a military award of the United States Armed Forces that is gives for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services and achievements.

Juocys works as a private practice family physician at Country Creek Commons Family Practice in Rochester.

Juocys has also been awarded the Michigan Osteopathic Association’s Citation of Achievement for Life Professional Membership; he was named “Family Physician of the Year” in 2006 by Michigan Association of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and received the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine Dean’s Award for Meritorious Contribution in 2010.

Juocys, of Rochester, graduate of Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, was the past president of the Oakland County Osteopathic Association and held the position of chair of the Department of Family Medicine at Crittenton Hospital and Medical Center.
