Beaumont in Trenton Names New President

Christine Stesney-Ridenour has been appointed as the new president of Beaumont Hospital in Trenton.

A resident of Troy for 20 years, Stesney-Ridenour joins the Trenton team from Beaumont Hospital, Grosse Pointe, where she served as vice president and COO since January 2008. At Grosse Pointe, she was responsible for daily operations, including direct reporting responsibility for Cardiovascular Services, Emergency Center, Surgical Services, Trauma and Care Management.

Stesney-Ridenour was also part of the inaugural administrative team that transitioned the former Bon Secours hospital to Beaumont, Grosse Pointe and was instrumental in the development of the initial five-year strategic and master site plans for the hospital.

Before joining the Grosse Pointe administrative team, she was an administrative director at Beaumont in Royal Oak; an assistant hospital director at Beaumont in Troy; director of patient registration at Troy; and administrative director of the Family Medicine Center and residency program at Troy. She first joined Beaumont as a department secretary in family medicine.

She is a fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives.  She earned her bachelor’s in business administration from Walsh College and a master’s in business administration from the University of Detroit.
