KPMG Names New Managing Director

DETROIT — Timothy C. McCabe has joined U.S. audit, tax and advisory firm KPMG LLP as managing director. Based in the Detroit KPMG office, he will focus on the automotive industry segment.

McCabe has more than 20 years of experience leading large automotive information technology organizations, managing global IT outsourcing efforts, and leading broad business transformation and system implementation initiatives.

Previously he was senior vice president and chief information officer for Delphi Corp in Troy, where he was responsible for strategic and information technology operational leadership of Delphi’s business units, regions, and functions. Prior to that, he held executive IT positions at General Motors Co.

McCabe earned a Master of Science in management from Walsh College and a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Oakland University.
