DETROIT — Butzel Long will receive the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association Pro Bono Service Award during Raising the Bar 2015, the association’s annual meeting on Tuesday.
“Butzel Long attorneys provided information and legal advice to more than 60 individuals on issues ranging from basic civil matters to family law/domestic and criminal matters,” says Ivonne Soler, attorney for Butzel Long.
The award honors the firm for its outstanding commitment to pro bono causes. The firm’s attorneys are frequently and consistently involved with pro bono cases on a wide range of issues.
Soler says throughout its more than 160 years, the firm has a long and distinguished history of public service, particularly assisting clients who could otherwise not afford legal representation. Providing quality pro bono legal services is a priority for Butzel Long.
