BLOOMFIELD HILLS — The newest MJR Digital Cinemas location will open on June 20 in Troy. MJR’s newest theater, located at 100 E. Maple Rd. at the corner of Maple Rd. and Livernois, will house 16 screens and 3,200 seats.
MJR expects to draw over 800,000 patrons per year to the site. The new location is expected to bring 70 new jobs to the area.
The MJR Troy Grand will offer amenities including five auditoriums equipped to show movies in HD 3D format, a free refill policy on pop and popcorn, and the MJR Movie Rewards Program.
The theater will also feature the MJR Epic Experience, a large 460 seat auditorium with an 80 by 44 foot screen, and expanded seats
All auditoriums will offer CaptiView closed caption viewing systems for the hearing impaired. They will also feature the Fidelio wireless audio system that delivers descriptive narration for the visually impaired.
