MILFORD — MIPRO, a Milford-based consultancy specializing in implementations, upgrades, and optimizations of Oracle’s PeopleSoft applications, announced the hire of Ken Wichers as director, southwest region. MIPRO President and CEO Jim Prokes made the announcement.
Based in Manhattan Beach, Calif., Wichers will work to expand MIPRO’s presence in southern California, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah. His ability to build long-term, strategic relationships and a high degree of trust with clients and prospects will be vital in his new role.
“Ken has a keen ability to initiate and develop concrete business opportunities with prospects and clients in a variety of industries,” said Prokes. “With more than 15 years of experience selling PeopleSoft services, Ken brings a wealth of understanding and passion for PeopleSoft products to MIPRO that will be an asset as we look to take advantage of key growth opportunities in the southwest region.”
Prior to joining MIPRO, Wichers worked as an enterprise sales manager for GBH Communications Inc. Prior to that, he served as the business development manager of the higher education division for CedarCrestone Inc. He has also held positions with the Dataccount Corporation and Ceridian Employer Services. Wichers earned a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University.
